Family Place Community Parenting Centre

A drop in service that provides opportunities to develop parenting skills in a safe and supportive environment. Build community connections, find peer support, and access resources relating to parenting and child development for children 0 – 5 years old.
The centre offers interactive parent-child activities including music and movement, early literacy, open-ended arts and crafts, sensory play, simple science experiments, outdoor play, and healthy snacks. Daily activities are designed to promote positive learning outcomes in a fun and engaging environment. Families are encouraged to dress for messy play. This drop-in program is designed to accommodate busy family schedules and is open to parents and grandparents with children aged 0–5.

Eligibility: Family Place welcomes parents and grandparents with children 0-5 years residing in the Maple Ridge/Pitt Meadows, Katzie First Nation and Kwantlen First Nations communities.
